To ensure transparency in the processes of initial assessment, peer review, and publication, Journal of Social Theories Muslim Thinkers applies the following publication fee policy:
Submission of manuscripts and their initial assessment by the journal are free of charge. At this stage, manuscripts are reviewed for their alignment with the journal’s aims and scope, compliance with structural and formatting requirements, originality of the topic, and preliminary conformity with the journal’s academic standards.
If a manuscript is deemed eligible to enter the peer review process after the initial assessment, the corresponding author is required to pay 6,000,000 IRR as a peer review fee.
Payment of this fee only covers the initiation and administration of the peer review process and does not, in any way, imply acceptance of the manuscript. The final decision on the manuscript will be made based on the reviewers’ evaluations and the decision of the Editorial Board.
If the manuscript is approved after completing the peer review process, making the required revisions, and receiving final approval from the Editorial Board, the corresponding author is required to pay 10,000,000 IRR as the final acceptance and publication fee.
This fee covers final manuscript preparation, editing, layout, indexing, electronic publication, and other services related to the publication process.
The payment of peer review and publication fees has no influence on the journal’s academic and editorial decisions. Manuscripts are accepted or rejected solely on the basis of scholarly quality, originality, compliance with publication ethics, reviewers’ recommendations, and the decision of the Editorial Board.
The corresponding author is responsible for paying the peer review and final acceptance/publication fees. Payment instructions will be communicated to the corresponding author through the journal’s submission system or by official correspondence after the manuscript is approved for peer review or after final acceptance.
