Ayatollah Abdullah Javadi Amoli has diverse and numerous works in various aspects of religious science, including the fields of theology and politics, which have made him a prominent figure. (Importance) Accordingly, the main question is what is the type of relationship between Islam and political participation in Javadi Amoli's view? (Main question) The hypothesis based on Skinner's hermeneutic method (method) is based on the premise that, based on the subjective and objective grounds and the customary norms in this field, Javadi Amoli, in both the modern and traditional perspectives, has positions according to which people's political participation is dynamic, extensive, and necessary, and based on covenants and contracts, but not exhaustive. Criticizing the secular perspective, he emphasizes the role of rationality, ijtihad, and ethics in guiding political participation, and considers it to be something beyond power relations and party competition. (Hypothesis) Accordingly, Javadi Amoli emphasizes the keywords of people's supervision and the well-known and the forbidding of the wrong in order to strengthen political participation; rational, religious-based participation is one of the indicators of good governance; in explaining the sphere of participation of the Islamic nation in the Islamic system, the two spheres of the command of Allah and the command of the people are separated from each other, and the sphere of participation and intervention of the people in the sphere of the command of the people is complete; religious government is established on the basis of the support of the people, and without it, the formation and continuation of governance is not possible; Although the people's consent is an important pillar of the stability of the government, it must be realistic and free from deception and pretense; if the people do not agree with religious rule, it is not permissible to impose force on them; the will of the people plays a major role in both the establishment of a religious government and its continuation; political participation should not lead to "simplicity" and "unlimited and comprehensiveness" in implementation; the areas of participation include the areas of permissible matters, issues not derived from religious sources, aspects of obligatory and rational choice, instances of obligatory and rational choice, and the like that do not directly refer to the Sharia ruling, as well as the realm of guardianship.
