Justice is a fundamental concept in Islam. Numerous thinkers have reflected upon it. The present article aims to study the meaning of justice from the perspective of Al-Farabi and Ibn Khaldun by a qualitative content analysis-based literature review, and in the end, assess their strategies of confronting injustice. It is worth noting that Al-Farabi and Ibn Khaldun belong to different historical periods, and have different views of society, class society, and humans. The goal of comparing their viewpoints is briefly focusing on their general similarities and differences. In general, these two great Islamic scholars have expressed specific philosophical points regarding justice. Considering the fact that the perspectives of these two Muslims are not limited to this world, their discourse belongs to the domain of Islamic discourse and, at times, has a divine quality. For instance, these scholars introduce justice as influenced by religion and jurisprudence, a fixed habitues of the soul; in addition, they consider absolute justice achievable only with Prophet Hood and Imam. Same as other classical philosophers, they view justice based on merits and worthiness. Al-Farabi considers justice to bear security, provided by Law. His Theory of Justice is completed with conformation of rights and the necessity of their sanction by the government. Ibn Khaldun believes social justice to mean securing the general interest, and considers it to be the basis for provision of construction and security. Therefore, the goal of this article is reviewing the meaning of justice from the viewpoints of these two Muslim scholars.

At first, this article explained the theoretical foundations of Sadraee wisdom as a criterion for evaluation, then; it discussed the Bourdieu’s intellectual system and then is criticized his approach. In discussing the theoretical foundations of authenticity of individual and society, substantial motion, human truth, knowledge, integration and development-oriented nature based on Sadra’s point of view are expressed. However, some of the issues that are addressed in Bourdieu’s critical approach are: trying to eliminate the false opposition between objectivism and subjectivism; the study of Second Nature and sociologists’ experience in different fields of study as a scientific and academic world; Social actors are known as those who follow reasoning, not those who are condemn to mechanical forces and self-aware selectors and believed that Second Nature is shaped within the space and fields; and fields are structures where strategies and fights are occurred within them. According to Bourdieu, the modernization is the process of differentiation and legal, political, intellectual, artistic, and etc self-independence (the narrow domain) from more areas of public power (wider domain)Some of the subjects that are considered in Bourdieu's critique include the inability to integrate agency-structure, incomplete understanding of traditional and modern society and logic of behavior in these communities, and offering a way to obviate determinism and social properties. Finally, it has been tried to present a more accurate report of the process of human society development by providing identity-environment theory, overcoming emotions, overcoming social belonging, rational selection, and presenting movement of individual and society model.

The methodology and strategies of research in social sciences are of great importance and momentum. Although very little attention has been paid, in the early scientific literature, to logic and methodology about generating knowledge, certain early Muslim scholars such as Farabi and Ibn-e Khaldun have made valuable conscious efforts in methodology, research techniques and scientific standards that are characteristic of contemporary style. Especially Farabi's profound reflections and accurate observations of methodology have made him a pioneer of methodological issues. Delving into Farabi's works such as Kitab Ihsa' al-'Ulum, 'Ilm-e Madani , Al-Madina al-Fadila and some other works that deal with methodology, this study seeks to extract, classify and explain the rules and principles of methodology developed and used by the author. Thus attempts have been made to elaborate on the methods used by Farabi to collect and analyze data and critically assess others' viewpoints. Before that, this study discusses assumptions about the nature of social reality, called ontological assumptions, and also a number of assumptions relating to the method through which knowledge can be obtained about this reality i.e. epistemological and anthropological assumptions that precede methodology.

Since social capital is one of the ground of social science, and in recent decades it get much importance that it was called invisible wealth, this article has paid attention to the comparative study of this concept with the Asabiyah of Ibn Khaldun who used this key word to analyze the social and political disorders of this time and he knows it a consolidating and uniting factor. In fact, the main goal of this study is to answer this question that whether we can update the Asabiyah of Ibn Khaldun according to the theories of social capital?Theoretical framework of this study is based on the theory of Gidenz and, its supplementary, ideas of Putnam. The set of presented arguments were resulted in this that although these two concepts have some in common, they have some differences which distinguishes them from each other in some respects. Thus, it can be inferred of differences of these two concepts that Asabiyah couldn’t be updated completely (however religion is still the main factor of solidarity in most societies specially our society, confederacy which also nowadays is formed regionally and universally, are some items which help to the possibility of updating the Ibn Khaldun theory of Asabiyah with new society) .On the other hand, Ibn Khaldun lived in a time and place with which Asabiyah was blended while in present modern societies race and lineage have been replaced by law and competence. In this way, the possibility of updating is cancelled in this case.

AsadAbadi and Motahari contened that Believing in Ghada and Ghadar affects destiny of societies. The problem in this article is inspired by thoughts of Jamal-Aldin Asad Abadi and Morteza Motahari. Social theories of both thinkers about Ghada and Ghadar are studied by comparative method. Asad Abadi’s theory about Ghada and Ghadar is more historical-experimental, during the history of before and after Islam and its spatial domain is world history. On the other hand, social theory of Morteza Motahari is more historical- philosophical, about after the appearance of Islam and its domain is Islamic history and Islamic nations. Both thinkers believe that understanding of Orientals about Ghada and Ghadar is false. This false understanding is intentional and biased according to Asad Abadi’s view but unintentional and unconscious as a result of less information and excessive focus on Quran and less focus on thoughts of the prophet and Imams in Motahari’s viewpoint. Both thinkers believe in the positive role of unbiased Ghada and Ghadar understanding on development of Islamic nations. Nowadays biased understanding about Ghada and Ghadar in Islamic nations is a barrier to development and results in sloth and indolence. Keywords: Ghada Ghadar believe, fatalism, Jamal-Aldin Asad Abadi, Morteza Motahari, Orientalists, development.

The emergence and establishment of modern social sciences in Western societies is explained as an “epistemic disembodying” which resulted in change in the metaphysics in the West. The views of Immanuel Kant have had a determining role in this process by providing the “possibility conditions” for the modern social sciences. By altering the conception of man from a “heteronymous being” to an “autonomous being”, as well as positing religion “within the boundary of mere reason”, Kant brought about dramatic changes into the metaphysics of the West .In comparison, Allameh Tabatabaee, as a prominent representative of the contemporary Islamic thought in Iran, has prepared a similar ground for the transformation of Islamic metaphysics. By suggesting the concept of “e’tebariyat” and a rational understanding of Islamic theology, Allameh Tabatabaee provided a general but introductory outline of a paradigm shift in understanding man and his relation with God in the Islamic metaphysics. However, by considering human reason as deficient, Tabatabee defines man not as an autonomous being but as a creature which is in need of an external support, namely, revelation. In this paper, it is argued that the consequence of this view is an understanding of society as a non-self-sufficient and non-self-founded, but founded on reason and revelation, simultaneously. The article concludes that although Allameh Tabatabaee provides some preparations for the “possibility conditions” of a new tradition of social sciences", he stands merely at the beginning of a long path which yet to be followed and completed by his students.
