General Policy
All submitted manuscripts are treated with strict confidentiality. Each manuscript is evaluated by at least two reviewers selected by the Editorial Board. The Editor-in-Chief will notify authors of the editorial decision—whether the article is accepted, rejected, or requires revisions—as soon as the reviewers’ comments are received. If a manuscript meets all criteria outlined in the Author Guidelines, it will be scheduled for publication in the earliest possible issue. Please note that the Editorial Board reserves the right to accept, reject, edit, or request revisions (subject to author approval) for any submission.
Initial Screening
All manuscripts undergo an initial screening by the Editor-in-Chief. Submissions must strictly adhere to the Author Guidelines. Manuscripts that fall outside the journal’s scope or possess significant structural deficiencies may be rejected during this preliminary stage. If the manuscript passes the initial screening, it is forwarded for peer review.
The Peer Review Mechanism
The journal employs a double-blind peer review process, ensuring that the identities of both the authors and the reviewers remain anonymous. Manuscripts are typically reviewed by two experts; however, in specific cases (e.g., specialized topics or methodologies), additional reviewers may be invited. Reviewers, who are generally faculty members at academic institutions, assess the manuscript’s scientific quality and may also provide feedback on the article type (e.g., Original Research, Review, or Outreach).
In cases where reviewers provide conflicting feedback, the Editor-in-Chief may assign the manuscript to an additional reviewer to resolve the discrepancy. Reviewers are invited via the online submission system and are expected to confirm or decline the invitation through their dashboard. We encourage reviewers to include any confidential comments for the Editor in a separate section of their report.
Revision and Final Decision
Authors are required to address all reviewers’ comments thoroughly. Revised manuscripts must highlight all changes clearly—either by using a different font color, bold text, or the “Track Changes” feature in Microsoft Word.
The Editor-in-Chief and the Associate Editor evaluate the reviewers’ feedback to make a final decision. Possible outcomes include:
- Acceptance without revisions
- Acceptance with minor revisions
- Acceptance pending major revisions
- Revise and Resubmit
- Rejection
Completion of Review
The peer review process is considered complete once all selected reviewers have submitted their detailed reports. Reviewers are generally requested to complete their assessment within 20 days. Once a manuscript is deemed acceptable according to the journal’s standards, it is queued for publication in the next available issue.
