Culture in the social theory of Muslims takes into account both descriptive and prescriptive aspects along with each other. This article is based on the theme analysis method in line with the concept of culture in the thought of Imam Khomeini (RA), while analyzing all his statements about culture, it uses the three stages of analysis, interpretation, and integration of the text. The research results show that there are four overarching themes including "the importance and function of culture, definition of culture, typology of culture, and strategy of culture" in explaining the concept of culture. Based on this, in the eyes of the Imam (RA), dependent culture is considered to hinder the growth of people and youth, which will be condemned to depreciation. On the other hand, one should achieve Iranian-Islamic culture while being aware of the corruptions of the West and confronting the vulgar Western culture by using its cultural advantages. Therefore, the most important development in the society is related to the field of culture, in order to achieve this goal, while purifying the culture from westernized people and purifying it to righteous (Iranian-Islamic) people, first of all, cultural self-confidence must emerge in the people, and secondly, art and media must be in opposition to The decadent culture of the West should be reconciled with the culture of Islam and Iran, and thirdly, while paying attention to the gradual transformation of culture, a kind of convergence should be created between the people, the media and the government. فرهنگ از پیچیده ترین مفاهیم علوم اجتماعی بشمار می رود که غالباً در نگاهی تحلیلی، در میانه طیفی از رویکرد تجویزی و توصیفی تبیین شده است؛ دوگانه مذکور بعنوان بزنگاه نظریه‌های فرهنگی مدنظر بوده و تأثیرات مهمی نیز در نسبت با نقد و سیاست در عرصه فرهنگ برجای گذاشته است. فرهنگ در نظریه اجتماعی مسلمین، دو سویه توصیفی و تجویزی را در طول یکدیگر مدنظر قرار می‌دهد. این مقاله برپایه روش تحلیل مضمون در راستای مفهوم شناسی فرهنگ در اندیشه امام خمینی(ره) ضمن تحلیل تمام بیانات ایشان پیرامون فرهنگ، از سه مرحله تجزیه، تفسیر، یکپارچه سازی متن استفاده می نماید. نتایج تحقیق نشان می دهد که چهار مضمون فراگیر شامل «اهمیت و کارکرد فرهنگ، تعریف فرهنگ، گونه شناسی فرهنگ، و راهبرد فرهنگ» در تبیین مفهوم فرهنگ وجود دارد. بر این‌مبنا در نگاه امام(ره) فرهنگ وابستۀ، مانع رشد مردم و جوانان قلمداد می‌شود که محکوم به استهلاک خواهد بود. در مقابل باید ضمن آگاهی به مفاسد غرب و مقابله با فرهنگ مبتذل غربی با استفاده از مفاخر فرهنگی خویش، به فرهنگ ایرانی ـ اسلامی دست یافت. لذا مهمترین تحول در جامعه مربوط به عرصه فرهنگ است که برای دستیابی به این هدف ضمن تصفیه فرهنگ از افراد غربزده و تحلیه به افراد صالح (ایرانی ـ اسلامی)، اولاً باید خودباوری فرهنگی در مردم پدید آید، ثانیاً باید هنر و رسانه در تقابل با فرهنگ منحط غرب و توافق با فرهنگ اسلام و ایران قرار گیرد، ثالثاً باید ضمن توجه به تحول تدریجی فرهنگ، نوعی همگرایی بین مردم، رسانه و دولت ایجاد شود. https://jstmt.ut.ac.ir/article_91235_cd7ffb58f8a9d06716f8d86aaf5eaf46.pdf
