The theory of public life developed by Jan Gehl is one of the theories in the field of urban space planning and design that has been successfully implemented in Western countries. As a result, it has been evaluated in various countries, including Iran, and his outstanding works have been translated and published. Implementing Jan Gehl’s theory of public life can have positive effects on the quality of urban life, such as enhancing vitality, security, health, and sustainability; however, due to the economic, political, social, cultural, and ideological differences between Western countries and Iran, its applicability and localization appear to be extremely important. This study therefore aims to critique this theory by emphasizing the cultural dimension and using Islamic concepts. This is accomplished with a focus on the ideas of Allameh Tabatabai, who is one of the most prominent contemporary Islamic philosophers and has a valuable theory of credit perception. According to Allameh Tabatabai’s theory of credit perceptions, the concepts of the social world are creditable and malleable. This theory formed the basis for the development of the research method. Therefore, in order to analyze the validity, the ontology and anthropology that form these concepts must be identified and analyzed to elucidate the reasons for their emergence and efficacy. The findings of the study indicate that the core beliefs of Gehl’s theory of common life are incompatible with Islamic thought. However, by considering the modified credits based on Islamic thought in order to modify the existing theory, it is possible to eliminate its negative cultural effects and utilize this theory to meet the material and spiritual requirements of the citizens.

The present study, using a descriptive-analytical method, follows Allameh Tabatabai's thought foundations in discussing the origin of human society and the type of communication between them. The results of the research show that the mechanism of forming human society, the origin of sociality, the creation of restrictions on individual freedom, collective cooperation, the enactment of law and the formation and establishment of government and the way of governance, as the foundations and presuppositions of building human society in thought. Allameh has a systematic relationship and, like the seeds of a chain, they have formed a strong thread in the context of the occurrence and survival of human society. This structured look at social topics and issues has brought Allameh into thinking in the field of social life. In his social thoughts, he believes in building society from the context and from the bottom up, and the pyramid of power, despite its importance, is the second priority in his thoughts on social issues and governance.

The meaning of life is one of the biggest concerns of today's human being, which is necessitated by suffering, everyday life, emptiness, death, etc. Søren Kierkegaard, by drawing three areas in human life, considers choosing one of them as the first and most important choice of every person and believes that it is a leap from the areas of goodness and morality to the area of faith that can calm a person in the heart of sufferings and hardships and make his life give meaning In Søren Kierkegaard's view, man has a truth that this truth is his individuality, and the human person is always looking for meaning outside of himself. He considers any procrastination in life to be a loss of opportunity and he believes that a meaningful life is the passionate faith that commits a person to move to reach a certain goal. He draws three stages for man, in the light of those stages, man looks at life and measures his behavior and life in relation to that look and moves towards his goal. Allameh Tabatabai, with the help of Quranic verses, believes in two spheres, worldly and hereafter, and considers the choice of religion in the hereafter to give meaning to one's life. The result of this research is to know the areas of human life, such as "Worldly Hassani", "Worldly Morality", "Worldly Religion" and "Otherworldly Religion". The two fields of "otherworldly Hassani" and "otherworldly morality" are also defined under the "otherworldly religious" field. Another result of this research is the difference between "worldly religion" and "hereafter religion" that in "worldly religion" even though a person adheres to religious rituals, but because he performs rituals with worldly goals, this area puts him in a dead end. The world will suffer absurdity. This research has compared the meaning of life from the perspective of these two thinkers by collecting information in the form of a library of written documents and descriptive-analytical data processing method.

Social conflicts, which are as old as the history of human life on earth, have always been one of the major and most important problems in the collective life of humans and an obstacle on the way to their exaltation and glory. Social conflicts are any conscious hostile thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that occur at different levels of society, from relationships between individuals to groups and between people and governments. The most basic requirement for solving social conflicts is to know their types and roots and their main factors. Allameh Tabatabaei (may Allah be pleased with him) as a great philosopher and social theoretician, has handled this task well in his worthy Al-Mizan interpretation. The aim of the current research is to answer these two basic questions: How many types of social conflicts are there from Allameh Tabatabai’s point of view? And what are the main causes and reasons of its occurrence? In response to these two questions, the verses related to the topic based on Al-Mizan interpretation have been examined using a descriptive-analytical qualitative research method. The findings show that according to Allameh Tabatabaei, social conflicts are divided into two general types, natural and religious, and any other sub-contradictions fall under these two. They consider the occurrence of social conflicts to be certain and inevitable. Because the issue of civility and its main pillar, i.e. social justice, is something that humans have accepted based on urgency and necessity, not according to their original nature. This urgency is the result of several factors: the existence of the natural characteristic of recruitment in man, which seeks absolute exploitation of all his fellows, the quality of his natural creation, and finally, his extensive and ever-increasing needs, which he is unable to satisfy alone. In addition to this urgent need for civility, the difference in human nature, which is caused by the difference in the creation and geography of their lives, should also be considered. These two main causes have triggered natural conflict among humans. As a result, divine laws appeared to resolve this type of conflict. But the existence of jealousy and rebellion among the scholars and the bearers of religion has doubled the type of religious conflict over the previous conflict.
